We're in a motel tonight...

Yes, we've piked for the first time!... we're in a motel in Queenstown (near the west coast of Tassie) for the night as one more hour driving down the extremely curving road to Strahan was not very appealing as it was edging towards twilight and bedtime. After enquiring at the caravan park (no vacancies), two motels (no vacancies), and resigning ourselves to free camping for the night at the footy oval (the check-out chick informed us it was often done) we finally located a vacant double room at Mt Lyell Motor Inn!! Yay! - beds, showers, power... therefore I decided to complete the tales of our Victorian sojourn because the next time we will see you, world wide web, will be when we are back in Melbourne.

The travelling Woodleys had one last place that they stayed at in Victoria - Ocean Grove...

...where we had the privilege of staying in a beautiful
cabin owned by a missionary...

...and attended 'The Wave' Baptist church where we renewed our acquaintanceship with a home schooling family with seven kids - many girls for our girls to play with as we visited...

...before rising at five am to get to 'the Spirit of Tasmania'
ferry on time!...

...see you in ten days, world wide web...

[P.S. oops - I haven't informed you yet of Nick's surfs...two while we were at Kennett River, and one at Ocean Grove...will let you know details from Melbourne...]

[and I haven't forgotton about 'Why "The Travelling Sabbath" - that will still be attende to!...]
